Brief profile

Dr. Mukesh Kumar Gupta is the Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (UK), National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), National Academy of Dairy Sciences (NADS), National Academy of Biological Sciences (NABS), National Academy of Environmental Sciences (NAES), Indian Association for Advancement of Veterinary Research (IAAVR), Academy of Environment and Life Sciences (AELS) and Society of Applied Biotechnology (SAB). He is an Executive Member of the Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE), HERITAGE Network (France), and Editorial Board Member of a few SCI-indexed Journals. He is known for his research on animal cloning, transgenics, in vitro spermatogenesis by tissue engineering, a quick method to detect DNA fragmentation, and solid surface vitrification. His work on modified solid surface vitrification is used world-wide for cryopreservation of pig oocytes and embryos.<

Brief Profile

Dr. Suhas Mhaske has completed his graduation (2008) and postgraduation (2010) in Biotechnology from University of Pune. He,as a Research assistant,worked on dengue virus NS1 proteinat ICMR-National Institute of Virology, Pune. He has carried out his doctoral researchin osteo-immunology at DBT-National Centre for Cell Science, Pune. He had joined Interactive Research School for Health Affairs (IRSHA), BVDU as post-doctoral research associate in 2019 and subsequently promoted to Assistant professor in the department of communicable diseases. His work at IRHSA mainly involved cloning and expression of viral proteins, development of molecular assays for detection and quantification of viremia and genomic surveillance of SARS-CoV-2. At National Immunogenicity and Biologics evaluation Centre (NIBEC) of IRSHA, he had served as laboratory manager and technical manager for molecular assays under the scope of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 NABL accreditation. He has obtained Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (PDCR) from Catalyst Clinical Services in 2021. Currently, he is working as a Scientist-B at ICMR-NARFBR, Hyderabad.

Brief Profile

Graduated in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry in 2010 and master's in Animal Biotechnology as major subject and Veterinary Biochemistry as minor in 2012 from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Master's work was focused on the outer membrane proteins of Salmonella Typhimurium as subunit vaccine for poultry salmonellosis and was the recipient of Graduate Teaching Assistantship in this duration. Completed her Doctoral studies in Animal Biotechnology as major subject and Veterinary Microbiology as minor from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary And Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, Punjab. Awarded by INSPIRE fellowship by Department of Science and Technology for pursuing Ph.D. in the area of development of recombinant protein-based diagnostic assays for early detection of canine mammary tumors.

After completion of Ph.D., worked as Senior Research Fellow in Animal Biochemistry Division, National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana. Field of research was development and characterization of 3 Dimensional models for buffalo liver, intestine and granulosa cells, and further testing of developed model for bacterial toxins and environmental pollutants. Later joined as Research Associate and worked in the different areas of genomics and proteomics for the detection of silent estrus in buffaloes.
